I have been loving high five for Friday from the blog From My Grey Desk. So I decided to join in the festivities!
surprise text from B&BW for $8 candles
Finally hunted down these two books for my classroom...Hello poetry
Planning a yarn/string mural for my classroom wall
 Ikea trip with my mom
Ruth learned a new "trick" we hide Easter eggs filled with her dog food around the living room and she will hunt them out and open them. We are pretty impressed with her!

I hope you all had a fabulous week as well as a festive 4th of July! Now on to a fantastic weekend!

  3. That's awesome that you teach L.A. to middle schoolers with mild disabilities. I am sure I could learn a lot from you! I teach L.A. to 10th-12th grades. Do you have a lot of students who struggle with reading? It seems even with the "regular" students it is so hard to get them into books. I would love some insight into what strategies you've tried that work! Just found your blog and I'm excited to follow along!

    1. Thanks Bonbon! All of my students struggle with reading! I find that sharing books I am reading makes them more interested plus we research authors and they get a chance to look at the books their author wrote! Exposure exposure exposure to books is the key!
